Regulatory Reporting Manager

Our Client, a large international bank, is currently searching for a Regulatory Reporting Manager for their London City office.  

 

Requirements for the role are set out below:

 

Overview:

This role reports into the Head of Finance at the Bank. The core aspects of the role encompass delivery of regulatory change with focus on implementation and roll out of Basel 3.1 for the next 2 years.

 

The role will also provide support to the existing regulatory reporting team in relation to production of the monthly and quarterly prudential and liquidity regulatory reporting requirements.

 

This is a full-time position based in the City of London.

 

Job Description, Qualifications & Experience:

The deliverables within the role are as follows:-

 

  • The Finance lead for the Basel 3.1 change program at the Bank.
  • Define scope and document Basel 3.1 requirements with engagement from external consultancy.
  • Design & plan the Bank’s roll out approach.
  • Lead the implementation of Basel 3.1 requirements.
  • Post delivery documentation – update/create process and technical documentation for reporting procedures following Basel 3.1 update.
  • Support regulatory reporting team during monthly/quarterly reporting cycle.

 

The finance function is currently going through a period of change where there is significant build out in relation to the financial control environment, documentation, system build out and operational practice. This role will be key to this, particularly in relation to the implementation of Basel 3.1 in the entity.

 

Qualifications and experience required:-

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
  • Change management experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with prudential capital reporting.
  • Experience in a subsidiary setting would be helpful but not essential.

 

Skillset:-

  • Attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and keen to drive change.
  • Self starter.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
