Loan Settlement Administrator            Mandarin Speaker

Our client, a large global bank is currently looking for a Loan Settlement Administrator.  Further details below:

 

Principal Purpose of the Job:

Loan settlement team continue to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service quality, to meet clients’ and the bank’s standards through optimisation of the loan procedure.

 

Reporting to:  Team Head

 

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Loan Settlement:

  • Check details of ticket and e-permit;
  • Open any new clients and facilities in FOVA;
  • Input deal into FOVA;
  • Register Nostro account cashflow relating to loan settlement;
  • Make drawdown payments due in GCMS re instructions from Credit Department;
  • Pass any Entries and Accruals fee in FOVA;
  • Update Loans Register schedule spreadsheet;
  • Update interest rates, new maturity date in FOVA when roll over;
  • Make sure interest and/or principal are received from agents or the borrower;
  • Make sure any fees due are paid or received;
  • File Loan documentation in folders;
  • Co-ordinate for necessary loan system upgrade analysis.

 

Others:

  • Keep Nostro positions;
  • To process payments in SCMS and FOVA using knowledge of SWIFT and SWIFT formats;
  • Create any new Clients and open relevant accounts in the system;
  • Pass any journal entries and accruals in FOVA;
  • Other tasks as directed by the Manager and Team Head;
  • Maintenance of records filing;
  • Keep all AML check evidence for AML check for audit trail purpose. Must report /escalate to MLRO for potential positive hit or suspicious transaction in accordance with the Bank’s AML policy;
  • Cover treasury settlement, clearing & payment, trade services, correspondence and reconciliation when required;
  • Process the correspondence in SCMS or in FOVA;
  • Process the Nostro transfer;
  • Update Consolidated Business Report monthly;
  • File work papers in a timely manner;
  • Archiving of old deals;
  • Conduct daily basic CASS review operation in accordance with established “policies”
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills Required:

  • Good Microsoft Office skills;
  • Good organisational ability and attention to detail;
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of different departments;
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and delegate when necessary;
  • Accurate reporting skills;
  • Good team player;
  • Mandarin speaker is mandatory.
