Our client, a large international Bank, is looking for a Minute Taker, for their Secretariat. This is a Temp to Perm role for an immediate start.
To support the Company Secretary by:
Attending formal governance meetings (meetings vary from between 30 minutes to 3 hours)
Taking manuscript notes capturing what you hear
Noting key discussion points
Noting what was agreed
Noting what action is to be taken by whom and by when
Drafting accurate and succinct minutes in English within an agreed timeline on the bank’s template
Sharing the draft minutes with the Company Secretary and others
Revising the minutes
Filing the minutes
Maintaining action reports, creating consolidated action reports for individuals, circulating action reports, following up assigned actions with owners
Updating and maintaining various calendars
Providing cover for the secretariat administrator e.g., general administrative duties such as arranging meetings, circulating agendas, collation of meeting packs etc.
Assisting in the preparation of MI/committee submissions for the Secretariat
Assisting in following up/monitoring items to conclusion
Developing a close working relationship with the Secretariat (a small, friendly team of two) and other members of staff

As this is a small friendly team, the role would suit someone who is a team player and who can engage easily with colleagues in other departments.
This is a temp to perm role with an immediate start. If you have the writing skills but no banking experience, don’t worry, training will be provided to the right person
