Assistant Manager Finance (Maternity Cover) 

Our Client, an International Bank is currently searching for a Assistant Manager for their Finance Department on a Temporary Contract  (Maternity Cover) 3 months with the possibility of rollover for another 3 months).  Details below

Main Responsibility

• Preparation and checking of monthly management accounts, accounting for accruals, prepayments
• Financial reporting including FINREP, BT & ELS other statutory regulatory reporting
• Preparation of Annual Accounts report in consultation with external auditors, preparation of strategic report
• Preparation of managed VAT account and reporting taxation and timely reporting of VAT to HMRC
• Putting processes and procedures for above as specified in job prescription and continuously Identify areas of process and procedure improvement
• All expenses and expenditure control as per delegation of powers, custodian of procurement policy
• Any other projects as assigned by Supervisor

General

• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures of the Bank.

Other Duties:

• Maintain Compliance with all policies and procedures of the Bank

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Part qualified / Qualified ACCA/CA
• Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills, particularly Macros. 
• Good knowledge of accounting procedures such as IFRS/UK. 
• GAAP desirable.
• Good team player with willingness to learn and grow with the bank. 

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in Banking.
